Over the last few months, clients at the Echo Centre - part of Corserv Care's Day Opportunities service, have been creating a vegetable and herb garden, and it is now time for the exciting part - harvesting and eating the produce!
The garden is bringing so many different benefits to the people who attend:
rediscovering previous passions and skills
working together as a team to solve problems
healthy eating
mental health and wellbeing
The team have been so inspired by some of the results so far, they are planning to install an accessible greenhouse, so that people can enjoy this activity all year round.
