We are delighted to share that we have taken responsibility for delivering Day Opportunities, Respite Care and Employment Services services previously managed by Cornwall Council.
These services offer care and support to a number of clients with learning disabilities, autism and physical disabilities whilst supporting families and carers to continue their caring roles. We will be working with the Council, staff, clients, families and carers and other key stakeholders across the voluntary sector to determine future arrangements for service delivery that creates meaningful opportunities for people, integrating them into their local communities.
All existing staff within these services have joined the team at Corserv Care to ensure that there is a smooth transition, and wherever possible, people will still have the same person providing their care.
Alison Waller, Corserv Care Managing Director, said:
“We are delighted to welcome these services to Corserv Care. As a growing business in Cornwall, we are dedicated to offering the best quality of care to the people of Cornwall.
“Our services are key in supporting health and social care in Cornwall, and our focus is very much supporting people’s independence. Working on the frontier between health and social care, we help individuals focus on building their strengths and achieving their goals.
“This approach fits perfectly with these new services, and we are looking forward to helping more individuals and supporting more families through our holistic approach to care.”
